Electric Runs are held all around the world with the London run held each year in Wembley. Each run is different and the stunning night time course has several different ‘worlds’ for the runners to experience including glowing colour changing trees, neon coloured hanging lanterns, tunnels of light created by lasers, and coloured fountains dancing to the beat of the music. Runners even get LED bracelets and glow in the dark glasses!

Electric Run is all about vibrancy, bright colours, neon, illumination and impact. The effect of sound and light spurs the runners around the course towards the DJS and party at the end. We were tasked with making bespoke coloured outdoor lanterns ranging from 14” in diameter to 30” in diameter for the London 2014 Electric Run.

Large nylon lanterns were suspended at random heights from trees around the course creating huge glowing orbs above the runners heads. Natalie from our Wedding and Events Team even ventured into London to take part in this year’s Electric Run!
