Bespoke laser cut lanterns created for Grosvenor House Hotel London

Our Sussex based creative studio designed and manufactured 20 stone coloured geometric lanterns in 50cm, 75cm and 90cm diameters. Each bespoke laser cut lantern was made from 700GSM card and came complete with hanging bars enabling them to be suspended on mains power cords.

The project was completed within a very aggressive timeframe of 2 weeks from initial concept to final delivery.

Situated on one of the most prestigious streets in London, the luxury Grosvenor House Hotel has stunning panoramic views of Hyde Park.

Early in September 2014 the hotel hosted a corporate event in the Great Room where the ceiling is 20ft in height – the production team wanted 20 large bespoke paper lanterns to suit the event’s colour scheme of midnight brown, gold, rust brown and ochre.

The Grosvenor House Hotel has previously been decorated with extra large paper hanging lanterns and traditional red Chinese lanterns but for this corporate event they wanted geodesic hanging lanterns.

Paper hanging lanterns and honeycomb balls were also suspended in supporting colours of ivory, latte and white to create clusters of the various styles.
