Clare needed a barn in the Oxfordshire countryside measuring approximately 70ft x 20ft (23m x 6m) decorated with paper lanterns and fairy lights for her wedding in late spring.

She chose a mix of regal toned paper lanterns in a variety of colours - teal, robin egg, fuchsia, yellow, peach, turquoise, blue, pink, navy, and violet.

"My very clever Dad rigged up LED clusters on the end of lengths of cable and wired it all together through a low voltage circuit. The effect was stunning as you can see! It was magical and exactly what I imagined!"

Clare and her Dad mad great use of the height in the barn by suspending the coloured lanterns at varying heights randomly throughout. The warm twinkling fairy lights and LED bulbs complement the rich, warm toned lanterns perfectly and the colours pop stunningly against the whitewashed walls.
