"I saw a picture by The Hanging Lantern Company on Pinterest when we were planning the wedding and I thought they’d be amazing pops of colour to decorate a white marquee ceiling.
Our wedding was a summer garden party in my parents back garden so it was lovely to have a summer garden vibe from the lantern colours.
We are both fun-loving individuals so we wanted something that was fun as well as classy. The colours were to tie in with our colour scheme that was like a pastel blush pink and mint.
All the bridesmaids and flowers were in pink or mint and we had dyed some jars deep pink and turquoise for the tables, so we thought a mix of pastel and deeper colours in the lanterns would look good to tie it all together.
We had a lot of fun putting them up as a family 2 days before the wedding and the instructions were very helpful!
