Broyle Place Romantic Wedding Lanterns

Louis and Rachel got hitched at Broyle Place Farm, Ringmer, East Sussex in late September 2014 and celebrated with their family and friends in the large 12 metre by 20 metre permanent marquee on site.

The happy couple, who had been together for a number of years before finally tying the knot, choose their wedding stationery first and based the rest of their day and décor around these pieces.

A bubbly, fun look was desired so Louis visited us in our lantern showroom and he choose lavender paper lanterns to set a relaxed, calming tone to the day, whilst a few dark purple hanging lanterns and cream lanterns were dotted in to complement. 

The traditional marquee at has an ivory pleated lining which allowed us to easily create a lantern canopy and suspend each paper lantern individually using our transparent crocodile style clips and fishing line. Our wedding team created this look in around 90 minutes clustering most of the lanterns (in 12”, 16” and 20” diameter) down the central ridge of the marquee. 

Buttonlites (LED lights specifically designed and manufactured by us for use inside our hanging lanterns) were added to the ivory lanterns enabling these lanterns to spring to life and add warmth and ambience to the wedding reception during the evening hours.
