Brighten a white marquee with summery coloured lanterns

Camilla phoned The Hanging Lantern Company’s wedding team knowing that she wanted some hanging paper lanterns to add colour to her white lined clear span marquee however she was feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. 

Our wedding advisor, Natalie, used the dimensions of the marquee to calculate how many lanterns were required to start with, before talking Camilla through the sizes and colour choices. Natalie directed Camilla to particular images on our website to demonstrate the different styles and overall effect that can be achieved by combining different sizes of round lanterns, until Camilla found a particular image she really liked. Using the same sizes seen in the inspiration gallery Natalie was able to draw up a quote within just a few minutes….. and thankfully it also suited Camilla’s budget! 

The colours chosen by the bride were white, yellow, orange and grass green to match the flowers in her bouquet and centrepieces. This particular colour combination brings warmth and the feeling of summer to a plain marquee whilst the variation of 4 sizes, 8” 12” 16” and 18”, creates a quirky style.
