Emily and Jan got married on a beautifully sunny day in August, choosing to add a large capri tent to the stunning grounds of Monkton Barn to allow them to celebrate their magical day with all of their friends and family.
Wedding backdrops seldom come more idyllic than the barn set in the secluded Chiltern countryside. The focal point of the wedding barn are the traditional beams and gorgeous oak floors perfect for dancing on.
The capri tent was decorated with paper hanging lanterns in a variety of sizes (12”, 16” and 20” diameters) including our bold teal paper lanterns, soft lavender hanging lanterns and vintage lace lanterns. Teal was the focal colour at this country wedding so 70% of the lanterns were teal to allow this strong tone to stand out against the white backdrop of the marquee and complement the other wedding décor and accessories.
Regal tones add bold pops of colour and look crisp against a neutral and are popular at wedding all yea round.
