Vintage Neutral Paper Lanterns at The Boathouse, Norfolk.

Panicked bride Sarah contacted our wedding team just 4 days before her wedding in October 2014 after stumbling across our website. She instantly fell in love with our vintage lace lanterns and knew she just HAD to have them. Taking a chance Sarah feared the worst but we were very pleased to be able to help….our Norfolk based installer Malcom, at Decorate My Venue, sprung to the rescue and managed to juggle his schedule to accommodate Sarah’s wedding at The Boathouse.

The Boathouse is situated on the banks of Ormesby Broad in Norfolk and is one of the most tranquil and serene venues for any dream wedding. With full glass doors opening out onto the dock and overlooking the picturesque English parkland and open waters this venue offers a modern and contemporary venue, yet it seems to sit perfectly amongst its surrounding thanks to the innovative architecture and style.

To reflect the calmness of the water around her Sarah opted for the neutral white and ivory round paper lanterns with our stunning white lace lanterns mixed in to offer a soft vintage touch to match her hessian bunting, wild potted flowers, rustic chairs and ornate mini paper birdcage favour boxes. A truly elegant wedding reception to complement the natural surroundings.
