A relaxed barn wedding at Cogges Manor Farm, Witney, Oxfordshire

Faye and Jamie used their biggest barn, the wheat barn and wanted their wedding to be relaxed and rustic so a barn choice was perfect. 

“Cogges has history with us as it was part of our childhood so was perfect choice. We didn't want to distract from the originality of the venue so wanted a way to keep it in tone. We'd seen other peoples weddings ideas there and they all had the same thoughts of bunting. We didn't want that so I thought of lanterns, did some research and come across The Hanging Lantern Company and loved what you had to offer. 

So, with some fairy lights on every other beam and round hanging lanterns on the beams in between, this was the outcome. I was sceptical at first as thought maybe I haven't purchased enough but once they were in place, it looked amazing! We didn't have a colour theme so we chose the ivory paper lanterns and purchased a mixture of sizes. We also purchased the tiny battery lights (LED Buttonlites) to go in them so they glowed up in the evening.”

Use small ivory (12” dia), medium ivory (16” dia.) and a couple of larger 20” ivory hanging lanterns to recreate this look in your wedding barn.
