Luxurious, rich toned black, red and teal paper Chinese lanterns really ‘POP’ against a bright white marquee lining.
Liz at Mad Philomena - one of our professional paper lantern installation teams created this fabulous look at The Walled Garden, Beeston Fields and tells us of her inspiration behind the distinctive look:
“The inspiration for this was actually a quirky Victorian emporium - I do however think regal will be a bog trend for 2015 and I think it stems from D&G’S catwalk collection which featured lots of rich reds, greens, and gold tones - along with beautiful baroque motifs and patterns - think velvet, luxury and beading!”
When using such strong coloured lanterns our top tip is to only use one size of lantern to let the contrasting and clashing colours do the talking.
