Hilton Glasgow decorate secret garden with Paper Lanterns

Hilton Glasgow held a Long Service Awards Dinner for 150 guests early in 2015 in one of their large corporate function rooms and wanted to create a stunning and eye catching secret garden for the attendees.

Astrid took inspiration from out Outdoor Lanterns seen at National Trust locations around the country and wanted to “decorate the venue with lanterns so it seems like you are outside instead of inside, creating a kind of a magical feeling”.

Heather from Make Believe Events under took the professional lantern installation for us using our small white paper lanterns suspended from twinkling fairy lights to give the impression that guests were sitting under the stars. Foliage was dotted around the room and table cloths and chairs were black to enhance the ‘night under the stars’ feel.
