Blue Hanging Lanterns in Jersey Marquee

“Just wanted to send thanks for all your help sorting out the lanterns for our wedding. The marquee looked fantastic and the paper hanging lanterns wonderful!”

Jamey and Alex visited our showroom when planning their wedding décor with plenty of ideas about coloured lanterns, hanging styles and showing off their fabulous marquee and wedding location. They had a marquee with plenty of floor to ceiling windows to show off their seaside location and make the most of the late Spring sunshine.

They chose cream, tiffany blue, teal, turquoise and royal blue paper lanterns and we drew a plan for them so that the layout allowed the different hues of blue and green to be displayed down the centre of the marquee without detracting from the view. The largest 20”, darkest blue lanterns were spaced evenly down the central ridge, whilst the medium paper lanterns (16” diameter) in turquoise, teal and cream were dotted in amongst these and off to the sides creating a wider cluster. Finally the small tiffany blue and cream lanterns (8” and 12” dia.) were dotted in the gaps and around the edges. 44 coloured paper lanterns were used in total.

The palette of hanging lanterns were designed and chosen to reflect the natural beauty seen out of the marquee windows - sea to one side and fields to the other. The simple table décor and flower vases complement the lanterns perfectly!
