Sam at Decorate My Venue dressed this huge marquee in a private garden near Carlton Manor, Norfolk.
The weather really was against DMV and Victoria Marquees so everything including the coloured paper lantern display had to be set up late in the day when there was a break in the clouds. Sam had to work quickly and eventually a 14 hour day to achieve this stunning wedding reception including the display of coloured lanterns combining all sorts of sizes.
100 hanging lanterns in total were suspended from the high maquee lining with half of them illuminated by our LED Buttonlites. A few of our large 3ft paper lanterns were illuminated using mains power to provide illumiantion as night fell on this beautiful wedding.
To recreate this look try not to stick to any patterns or symmetry and simply hang each lantern individually and randomly.
