Cat contacted us wanting a paper lantern canopy in her wedding marquee at Narborough Hall, Norfolk.
“I would like something based around sage, ivory, pale blue, peach and pink but with some brighter colours to make it a bit more interesting and eclectic. I really like the mixed sizes, colours and clusters of lanterns and the full lantern canopy look.”
Their 40ft by 60ft marquee was decorated and the coloured lanterns professionally installed by Malcolm and his team at Victoria Marquees. Cat and Will made sure to include some of our pastel coloured robin egg hanging lanterns to complement their bridesmaids dresses, but were equally keen to have a real range of colours with plenty of bright paper lanterns as well as pastels in different sizes and heights that they had seen in our inspiration gallery.
We all worked together to formulate a colour coded plan and in the end 100 lanterns were used to create the stunning effect at the wedding reception. All lanterns measured between 12” and 18” in diameter and were suspended individually from the marquee lining using a transparent clip and fishing line.
