All of our hanging lanterns come flat packed with their own wire expander, so they are ready to hang from a household hanging light fitting as a paper lampshade, or on their own with string, ribbon or with one of our mains powered light cord kits.
The wire expander also has an internal hook that enables you to hang one of our battery light units inside your lantern if you should wish to illuminate it without using a mains powered cord kit. Our super efficient LED battery units will light your lanterns for at least 14 hours, and come with their own batteries.
Chinese Lanterns - Design Ideas:
Our large irregular Purple Chinese lanterns are identical to our more common even ribbed paper lanterns, but they have an uneven bamboo ribbing. However, both styles look great when mixed together whether hung on their own on with other coloured paper lanterns.
