"Our wedding was perfect!! Thank you so much for all your help with the lanterns, we had soooo many comments on the day.
I had seen them before to get the idea for them, but no one else seems to have seen them!! I got most of my inspiration for colours and themes from good old Pinterest, but also from a couple of Blogs.
The colours and flowers actually came from a Wedding Styling Blog; we used a lot of their ideas, for flowers on the top table, and actually hired candles, gold cutlery and beautiful mismatched blue and white plates from them.
Our florist was the amazingly talented Zoe who incorporated all my design ideas and her own, with our modest budget, she did an amazing job!
Using a white marquee and pale carpet, combined with the blue and white plates and gold napkins I then tied in blue table cloths - this gave me the WOW factor I was looking for, but I needed more colour in the room!
When I saw the blue and white lanterns on a post on Pinterest I knew that coloured wedding lanterns was the way to go. I just added in some round gold lanterns for a little extra WOW! It worked a treat and looked amazing!
We used a few small hanging lanterns outside and suspended them from festoon ligthing with fresh flowers from the garden, the whole thing looked amazing!
Our photographer was the amazing Clare Basiuk, she was so lovely to work with and have around all day, plus her photos are amazing! The super yummy cake was by Barefoot."
