Our colourful nylon lanterns were the top choice of outdoor decoration for festivals in 2015. Chinese lanterns added colour to the festivities at Wireless, V festival, Bestival, Electric Daisy Carnival and Shambala.

The music festivals used our round outdoor hanging lanterns to add a vibrant injection of colour into campsites, food areas and enchanted woodlands. The outdoor nylon lanterns are perfect to create an exciting party vibe for guests and each festival produced different looks with our lanterns to create a variety of atmospheres.

V Festival added bursts of colour to both festival sites in August placing our hanging lanterns over festoon lighting. Hot neon pink, yellow, red, apple green, white and dark blue nylon lanterns were used to create the look. The brightly coloured lanterns added a vivid touch of fun to the festoons accentuating the festivals lively ambience.

The Hanging Lantern Company has supplied Shambala, in Northamptonshire, with outdoor lanterns over several years to emphasise their carnival feel. A mix of violet, hot pink, red and dark blue lanterns were hung around Shambala’s Enchanted Woodland creating a colourful canopy above the guests. The secret forest stimulates the senses with vibrant art performances and magical melodies. The energetic colours of the hanging lanterns scattered about the tree tops just adds to the multisensory festival experience.

The incredible Annie Sawicki, Customer Experience & Creative Fulfilment Manager at Live Nation, helped style both Wireless and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) with our outdoor lanterns. Hot pink, dark blue, yellow and white 16” nylon lanterns were used at
Wireless, in Finsbury Park, London. The round lanterns were dotted though the trees to add extra splashes of colour in event arena. Annie also used the outdoor lantern decorations at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) by hanging them across walk ways and around the guest food areas. A mix of 12”, 16” and 20” nylon lanterns in red, orange, plum, dark blue, apple green, white and ivory were used to empathise the electric dance festivals energetic atmosphere.

Bestival is held at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight, it is the final festival of the year and recently won Best Major Festival at the UK Festival Awards. Bestival boast exciting line ups and wacky festivities with dress up tents, secret stages and even inflatable churches for music lovers to get married. This year Bestival used our yellow, light blue and hot pink round outdoor lanterns to create a canopy over STA’s Travel Hostel. The bright colours mixed with straw-skirted tables mentally transported guests to the sunny beaches of Hawaii while their feet never left the muddy festival grounds.
