"We had a really fabulous day and the lanterns looked great - we had several comments about them!
The marquee lanterns went very well with our colour scheme after your sound advice! Thanks for all your assistance helping us decide on quantities and colours.
We chose hanging lanterns over bunting type options mainly because of how smart they looked in both marquees and stretch tents that we saw when researching.
Also due to the time of year we loved the fact that they could be lit, as one of the main benefits of getting married in September is increased hours of darkness leading to a really cosy atmosphere!
As for the colour scheme, Claire had bought a cocktail dress and I had bought a tie, both in an oxblood colour for a December wedding the previous year and loved the rich autumnal colour.
We added the pink lanterns later on to soften the look and to avoid any hints of Christmas when using a red shade with green foliage! The red was also a great choice for all our bridesmaids.

Mark and Claire decorated their 9 metre x 21 metre marquee with a mixture of our white, cream, baby pink and red paper hanging lanterns and added some LED Buttonlites to half of the lanterns.
