The Hanging Lantern Company is the UK and Europe’s largest distributor of high quality paper lanterns, Chinese parasols, paper fans, and tissue pom poms.
Our distribution centre is located in Ridgewood (TN22 5QE - Uckfield in East Sussex) and is capable of fulfilling many 100’s of orders per day. We also have a large 1000 Sq ft customer showroom and welcome any visitors wishing to view any of our products and lighting accessories.
All of our products are manufactured by us in our factory, and not sourced from an external vendor. Therefore, we are able to offer a wide range of bespoke services and custom made products. All of our lanterns are manufactured to an extremely high standard, and certified to comply with the BS EN 60598 safety directive for use with electrical lighting.
Our ever growing high profile customer base includes - the BBC, ITV and SKY for use on film sets for Sherlock, Dancing on Ice, Hollyoaks, BBC 3’s Frankenstein’s wedding, DIY SOS, Children in Need, and The London Olympics 2012 Opening Ceremony!
We also supply large volumes of products for in store visual merchandising at Selfridges & Co, Boux avenue, Mamas & Papas, John Lewis and Harvey Nichols to name a few. Pictures can be found in our image gallery.
