Paper parasols are swiftly becoming very popular accessories at summer weddings and weddings abroad on beautiful sandy beaches.
Originally, Chinese parasols were used quite simply as decorations at weddings and parties, but Chinese parasols can also be fantastic photographic props in your wedding photos, shelter your bridesmaids from the sun, or be used to decorate your wedding marquee. You could even use our wedding parasols as unique favours allowing your guests to take them home after your big day – why not restrict them to those wedding guests sat at your top table to make the use of paper parasols even more special.
We have ensured that these paper parasols have been made using a traditional Chinese method which sees them being made indiviudally by hand, once the Chinese parasol has been finished it is coated in a varnish to ensure the bamboo struts remain durable for use time and time again.
Our range of paper parasols are hand made to the highest quality from bamboo and rice paper. Each paper parasol is 100cm in diameter and has a handle approximately 70cm in length. Paper parasols from The Hanging Lantern Company are available in a huge range of colours to compliment our existing paper lantern range; we even have white parasols to match any theme!
Paper parasols are very lightweight so even the youngest of flower girls will be happy carrying a parasol. Each paper parasol comes in its own protective sleeve and the top of the paper parasol is covered in a colour matched finial.
