HOW LONG WILL MY LANTERNS TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We guarantee to dispatch all orders received before 2PM (Monday – Friday) the same day. This does not mean that orders received after 2PM will not also be processed same day, but we can't guarantee it, due to the volume of orders that we receive.
All of our orders are dispatched via Royal Mail 1st class post or by next day courier service (tracked). You will be provided with shipping options during checkout.
CAN I ORDER OVER THE PHONE?
Yes, we will be happy to process your order over the phone on 0845 456 5585, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR LARGE ORDERS?
All of our lantern products are hand made and of a very high quality. Whilst they are competitively priced, we may be able to offer discounts on large orders. Please contact us on contact@hanginglanterns.co.uk, and we will be happy to discuss with you further.

CAN I RETURN MY PAPER LANTERNS?
Yes, whilst we are confident that you will love your paper lanterns, we will be happy to refund your order, if for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, or no longer require them. All lanterns/products should be return unopened and undamaged to FlyAway Lanterns Ltd, 2nd Floor, 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PY, within 14 days of your original purchase date.

WILL MY LANTERNS BE READY TO HANG?
Yes, all of our lantern products come with a wire frame (or expander as they are also known). This “expands” the paper lantern, and keeps its shape. It also enables you to hang the lantern from a traditional lamp fitting as a lampshade, or to hang the lantern from string. There is also a hook to hang a battery unit inside and illuminate your lanterns.
HOW DO I INSTALL BATTERY UNITS?
All of our battery units have a keying attachment. This enables you to simply hang the unit inside your lantern from the metal hook provided on the “expander” (wire frame)
CAN I USE YOUR LANTERNS WITH STANDARD HANGING LIGHT FITTINGS?
Yes, all lanterns are provided with an expander, and are ready to hang from a traditional hanging light fitting, or with string or ribbon, or with one of our mains power cord kits.
CAN YOUR CHINESE LANTERNS BE USED OUTSIDE?
Whilst our hanging paper lanterns can be used outside, prolonged rain may damage them. However, we do have a range of Nylon hanging Chinese lanterns that are ideal for outdoor use.
ARE YOUR PAPER LANTERNS SAFE?
Yes, our paper lanterns are safe when used in accordance with accompanying safety instructions. They have also been certified and comply with the BS EN 60598 safety directive.
