Many bridal parties ask us what they can do with their wedding lanterns after their big day. We have out together a few suggestions on how to recreate the feel of your wedding, or how to help a good cause using your paper lanterns.
- Don’t forget all of our paper lanterns can be flat packed again after use so won’t take up much room to store in the loft for future events.
- The traditional gift for the first wedding anniversary is paper. Why not re-use your paper lanterns to decorate your dining room for a celebratory meal? This will replicate your wedding reception for a romantic and thoughtful touch. Alternatively hire a local hall to have a big anniversary celebration and hang your wedding lanterns and re-live your big day time and time again.
- Use your favourite wedding lanterns around your home. Our hanging lanterns can be used individually as a lightshade or you can cluster a few together as a feature above a dining table. Use a group of hanging lanterns to cover the ceiling in a nursery or children’s bedrooms.
- Add a touch of colour to your garden – use the paper lanterns during the summer but our outdoor lanterns during the winter months to add much needed brightness during the dark winter months.
- If you don’t want to keep your wedding lanterns long term why not try advertising them on websites such as Preloved or Ebay so another bride can add our beautiful paper lanterns to their wedding venue.
- Donate your coloured paper lanterns to charity
- Give your paper lanterns to your local children’s school to use as decorations for parties or Proms.
- Or give small lanterns as part of your wedding favours to your guests as a personalised memento of your big day.
