Broyle Place, Ringmer, is one of the most popular wedding venues in East Sussex and their Spring Wedding Show always draws in hundreds of couples looking to be inspired for their big day.
On Sunday 24th April 2016, 2 of our wedding lantern experts exhibited in the marquee next to the beautiful Manor House and gardens which offers a wonderful combination of history, a waterside ceremony area and a spacious reception setting. It is hard not to be transported into another world when you step inside the iron gates and make your way down the swooping drive into this mystical land. With the lawns, ceremony area and marquee dressed by exhibitors the future happy couples’ were spoilt for choice!
Previous hanging lantern canopies at Broyle Place have always followed a particular theme or colour scheme (including purple and lavender, and English Country Garden), however, this time the hanging lantern team chose a multi coloured ‘Mad Hatters’ combination to liven the blank marquee canvas and add a Spring feel inside to ‘wow’ the visitors. With over 20 colours the paper lantern canopy was certainly the main focus with many fantastic comments floating around the room.
Marquee heights and sizes can vary greatly and Broyle Place is very lucky to be able to offer such a spacious and light venue which stands at over 15ft high in the centre. When you have this extra height to play with you can be a little more adventurous with different sizes of lanterns including using our extra-large 30” round lanterns to make a real statement. Each lantern was clipped individually on to the marquee lining…..our crocodile clips are damage free and practically invisible once installed and the only approved installation method.
