2016 Pantone Colours of the Year inspire wedding lantern styling

  • 2016 Pantone Colours of the Year inspire wedding lantern styling

House of Bunting, styled the beautiful Hyde Barn, in Gloucestershire, using coloured round lanterns to match Pantone’s 2016 colours of the year.

Every year the world of fashion and wedding styling is guided by Pantone’s chosen colours of the season to lead the way to an ultra-stylish wedding.

Pantone broke boundaries this year by choosing 2 colours which harmonise together yet singularly contrast light and shade. The warm Rose Quartz brings an air of peacefulness and a warm embrace whilst the Serenity Blue reflects calm and wellness.

Stylists at House of Bunting, Ruth & Kim, selected our pale pink and navy blue wedding lanterns combined with white and lace lanterns to add a more gentle and elegant touch balancing out the bold blue tone. For a more contemporary feel why not expand the colour palette and replace the lace with some dove grey paper lanterns… or mix in sage and cream lanterns for a more earthy and rustic woodland vibe.
