Stephen and Emma approached us just 8 weeks before their wedding wanting a paper lantern canopy in their marquee at Squerreyes Court, Westerham, Kent.

They liked the idea of pink or peach lanterns with a few ivory and large gold lanterns, and needed our professional team to install them one by one ready for the big day in the grounds of this stunning 17th century manor house.

We used a combination of 12”, 16” and 20” lanterns and suspended the largest down the central ridge with the medium and smallest lanterns dotted in between. Each paper lantern was suspended individually at varying heights creating a beautiful canopy that sparkled in the sun.

"We chose the lanterns as we knew we wanted something extra special for our marquee but we couldn’t decide what, then Stephen has seen some on Pinterest and fell in love with them. We contacted Aimee and she actually helped us to decide our colour scheme, our bridesmaids dresses were in-between the pink and peach lanterns and with Aimee's advice we decided to have both the pink and peach as that would complement the bridesmaids dresses, we also threw in some gold as that was also in our colour theme and added a stronger colour in."
